On August 8, 2018, the JCC Aspen presented a program that was the first of it’s kind. Never before had these five progressive, liberal, international Muslim leaders appeared together on the same stage. Aspen was the perfect place for this inaugural and important event so that these vital and often threatened voices could be heard. The event drew a full house of audience members that appreciated the importance of what they were hearing, and the international necessity for the program to occur.

This website contains all the presentations from the event, as well as separate interviews of each speaker, done before the event began, to give an even deeper look into their unique lives and what they are trying to accomplish.

Please take the time to view these important presentations, and the viewer is encouraged to pass on the link to others so that more people can learn of the struggle to reform radical Islam. Other venues may want to hold their own similar programs to allow a much larger audience to be reached and educated by these five brave and outspoken experts.

Special thanks goes to those members of the JCC Aspen community who supported this program financially to allow it’s presentation: Jack Grynberg, Joe and Shira Lipsey, Gorlin Companies, John and Suzie Diamond, Larry and Lorrie Winnerman, Aaron and Barbara Fleck, CCAT (The Canadian Coalition Against Terror), and the Altman Family Foundation.

Speakers: Raheel Raza (President of The Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow, Co-Founder of The Muslim Reform Movement: MRM), Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser (President / Founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, Co-Founder MRM), Dr. Tawfik Hamid (Author of “Inside Jihad: How Radical Islam Works), Dr. Elham Manea (Co-Founder of Open Mosque Switzerland, Author of “Women and Shari’a Law”), Professor Salim Mansur (Department of Political Science, Author of The Qur’an Problem and Islamism and Delectable Lie”)
