Catering Policies and Procedures
Thank you for considering the Jewish Community Center for your upcoming event. Our Catering and Events team offers a wide range of services and options to help you plan a memorable meeting or event.
Menu Selection & Guarantee
A minimum number of guaranteed entrees and a menu must be selected and confirmed with the Catering Director at least 14 business days in advance to guarantee availability due to seasonality of some selections.
The client is responsible for confirming the exact number of attendees (Final guarantee) with the Catering Director no later than 10 business days prior to the scheduled event.
The JCC will prepare food for 5 % over this guarantee.

Full Bar: |
One bartender per 65 guests |
Wine & Beer Bar: |
One bartender per 100 guests |
Additional labor may be requested for additional fees.
Bar
Outside Food and Beverages
An approval from the JCC must be obtained before bringing any beverages or food from outside sources into the building.
Donated Products
A special permission from the JCC is required before allowing donated products into the building.
Non-Kosher beverages / alcohol / food are not permitted.
Parking
Self-parking is available on the streets and is the responsibility of the guests.
Valets are available at an additional charge.
Security
The JCC reserves the right to require adequate security for events that due to size and nature of the event warrant it. The selected security service must be approved by the JCC and be a bonded security service within the county of Pitkin. The Client acknowledges that the JCC cannot be responsible for the safe keeping of equipment, supplies, written materials or other valuable items left in the function space / rooms. Accordingly, the Client acknowledges that it will be responsible to provide security of any such aforementioned items and hereby assumes the responsibility of loss thereof.
Cancelation Policy
All events are considered definite upon receipt of the signed catering contract and initial deposit. If you cancel the function 45 days or more prior to your event, the initial deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel your function within 30 days of the event, payment of 100 % or the estimated charges will be required. Please reference your contract for specific cancelation policies that will apply to your event.
