About Camp Gan Israel

Camp Gan Israel is the most dynamic Jewish summer experience in Aspen, Colorado! Jam-packed with awesome activities, fun, friends, amazing staff and incredible spirit!

We have swimming at the Aspen Rec Center (Ages 5 & Up) and a trip twice a week. We have exciting activities every single day such as mad science, master chef, foam parties, bounce house, etc.

Below are important notes and reminders to help you prepare for camp:

Camp Gan Israel activities

 

 

⏰ Camp Hours & Drop-Off / Pick-Up

  • Camp Runs: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Drop-Off: 9:00–9:30 AM at the Front Entrance Only
  • Pick-Up: 3:00–3:30 PM at the Front Entrance

Please expect a 5 wait for your camper to make their way up to you. (Great time to browse through the Lost & Found!)

⚠️ Nut-Free Policy

Camp CGI is a nut-free facility. We have several campers with severe nut allergies. Please ensure all lunches and snacks are completely nut-free.

🎉 Daily Activities

Each day is filled with exciting programs:

Please refer to the attached schedules for your child’s age group:

  • Ages 5 & up
  • Ages 3 & 4

💦 Swimming & Water Activities

  • Ages 5 & Up: Swimming takes place at the Aspen Recreation Center every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Ages 3 & 4: All “swimming” and water activities take place on camp grounds.

 

🎒 What to Bring DAILY (Please label everything!)

  • Small backpack
  • Filled water bottle
  • Big nut-free lunch with an ice pack
  • Change of clothes
  • Swimsuit & towel on Water Days (Mon, Wed, Fri)
  • Sweatshirt or layers for weather changes
  • Sun hat
  • Sunscreen (please apply before arrival)
    • We will have extra sunscreen at camp.
    • If you prefer we use your own, please notify our staff and send it labeled.

Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily.

👶 Notes for Parents of Young Campers

  • All children must be fully potty-trained to attend camp.

💊 Medication:

  • We do not administer medications, except for emergency epi-pens or inhalers.
    • If your child requires one, please email [email protected] for the medical form that needs to be signed by your physician before camp begins.
